Sustainable Renewable Energy Ltd (SREL) is an EPC Company related to Solar renewable energy solutions working with Hainergy, a company of Haier, China. Hayes Haier Appliances Company Limited is the sister concern of SREL, a Joint Venture company with Haier, working in Bangladesh since 1997. Hayes Haier Appliances Company Limited has its own assembling plant in Gazipur and going to implement a large scale manufacturing plant in joint-venture with Haier very soon. Hainergy has implemented solar in many countries of the world with a significant footprint in China. Hainergy and SREL is working together in Bangladesh for roof-top solar. In addition to Roof-top solar, SREL is also working with Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) solution. SREL is the first one in Bangladesh to introduce BIPV technology. In Baridhara, Gulshan, we have implemented a 44.1 KWp BIPV solution and in Gulshan 1, SREL is incorporating BIPV solution in one LEED-certified 18 storied building to generate around 1.2 MWp power. SREL is working closely with the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) to implement the BIPV solution in the BERC building that is going to be implemented. SREL is working with Energy Storage System (ESS) forming a joint-venture company in Bangladesh. Within this year Lithium-Ion Battery assembling plant is going to be implemented to provide complete Energy Storage Solution for the home and industrial applications. The energy storage system can replace the generator to supply uninterrupted power-saving fossil fuel and become carbon neutral. We are capable and very much interested to provide a mini-grid solution in any remote and challenging location of our country.
